What You'll Help Build
Jtec designs and manufactures material handling systems that move parts, products, and materials through factories and distribution centers. Our custom tugger carts, automated transfer systems, and data center solutions are used by some of the largest manufacturers in the world.
Every cart that ships from our East Peoria facilities was designed, welded, painted, and assembled by our team. When you work here, you see the direct result of your work on the production floor and in customer facilities across the globe.

Explore Our Departments
Engineering
Our engineers design every cart, trailer, and automated system from scratch. They work directly with customers to translate specific workflows into production-ready solutions, from initial concept through SolidWorks modeling to final manufacturing handoff. If you want to see your designs get welded, painted, and shipped within weeks, this is the team.
Production and Manufacturing
This team turns engineering drawings into finished products. From cutting and welding raw steel to powder coating and final assembly, production handles every step in-house across our four East Peoria facilities. It’s hands-on work with real accountability. When a customer gets their order, you built it.
Sales and Marketing
Sales works directly with operations managers and plant engineers at companies like John Deere, Caterpillar, and Tesla to scope material handling projects. Marketing drives the digital presence, manages Google Ads campaigns, and creates content that brings qualified leads to the sales team. Both sides of this team are growing fast.
Administration
Admin keeps the business running. This team handles HR, payroll, recruiting, and office coordination across all four facilities. As Jtec scales from ~140 employees toward the next phase of growth, this team is building the systems and processes to support it.
Maintenance
Our maintenance team keeps the production equipment and all four facilities operating. They handle everything from CNC machine upkeep and electrical troubleshooting to building maintenance and safety compliance. Downtime on the shop floor means missed deadlines for customers, so this team’s work has a direct impact.
Leadership and Management
Jtec is privately owned and growing quickly. Our leadership team sets direction across operations, manufacturing, and new product development. If you have experience running production teams, managing complex projects, or scaling manufacturing operations, there’s a lot of room here to make an impact.
