Product Details

The Data Server Rack Cart – Dual Bay – ACLD-2442-80 (Autonomous, Cart, Lift, Dual Bay- 24” x 42” – 8,000 lbs. total capacity). With an electric lift mechanism, it raises server racks 1 inch above the ground, and an all-electric Quad-steer system enables precise trailering in tight spaces. Equipped with vertical LiDAR safety sensors, it ensures protection for both the cargo and its surroundings.

The cart seamlessly integrates with any AGV, drawing 24V power from the AGV unit via a rear-mounted hitch control. Its universal design accommodates ORv2 & ORv3 server racks, presenting a comprehensive solution for Safe, efficient, and secure server rack logistics.

FAQs

The cart can carry up to 4,000 pounds per bay, providing a total capacity of up to 8,000 pounds across its two bays. Each server rack and the combined load must remain within these ratings. Rack dimensions, weight distribution, center of gravity, and route conditions should also be reviewed before transport.

The Dual-Bay Data Server Rack Cart is designed to accommodate ORv2 and ORv3 server racks. Compatibility should still be confirmed using each rack’s exact footprint, weight, base configuration, and any protruding equipment. The cart’s two load bays are identified around a 24-inch by 42-inch rack interface.

An electric lift mechanism raises the server racks approximately one inch above the floor for transport. Lifting the racks places their weight onto the cart instead of relying on the racks’ own casters. Correct rack positioning and load engagement should be verified before the AGV begins moving the loaded cart.

The all-electric quad-steer system controls the cart’s wheel direction to support precise tracking and maneuverability through constrained data center routes. This can help the dual-bay cart follow an AGV through narrow aisles and turns. Required clearance depends on the complete cart length, rack dimensions, turning path, and surrounding infrastructure.

The cart includes vertical LiDAR safety sensors designed to detect hazards around the cargo and surrounding travel area. These sensors support safer movement of loaded server racks through the facility. Exact detection zones, stopping behavior, communication with the AGV safety circuit, and response to obstructions depend on the complete system configuration.

The cart connects through a rear-mounted hitch control and draws 24V power from the AGV. This interface supports cart control and integration with the towing vehicle. Compatibility depends on the AGV’s hitch arrangement, electrical supply, communications, safety circuit, towing capacity, navigation, and required motion-interlock logic.
