Product Details

Rack Guarding – Boplan protects against collisions between forklifts and storage racks, which are among the most common—and potentially devastating—accidents in modern warehouses. A single impact can compromise the structural integrity of a fully loaded rack, risking both catastrophic inventory loss and severe operator injury. Protect your infrastructure and your personnel with our premium line of Boplan® rack protectors. Belonging to the highly resilient FLEX IMPACT® family, these advanced polymer protectors absorb and dissipate collision forces, preventing your racking systems from buckling and keeping your facility strictly aligned with zero-accident safety goals.

FAQs

Boplan Rack Guarding helps protect pallet racks from impacts caused by forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and stackers operating in confined warehouse aisles. The flexible protectors absorb collision energy before it reaches vulnerable rack uprights or row ends. Reducing impact damage helps preserve the rack structure while protecting nearby employees, inventory, and equipment.

Boplan offers RACKBULL protectors for individual rack uprights and RE RACK END barriers for exposed row ends. RACKBULL clips around the upright at locations vulnerable to wheel or vehicle contact. RE RACK END uses a barrier with two protective bollards to shield the end and corners of an entire rack row.

Boplan FLEX IMPACT rack protectors use flexible, energy-absorbing polymer material to absorb and dissipate collision forces. After an impact, the protector is designed to return to its original shape while retaining its appearance and protective properties. The rack and guarding should still be inspected after any collision for damage or displacement.

Impact resistance depends on the selected product. The RACKBULL upright protector is rated at 0.40 kJ, while the RE RACK END system is rated at 8.50 kJ. The required protection should be selected using the vehicle type, maximum loaded weight, travel speed, possible impact angle, and rack location.

RACKBULL uses a universal clip-on design intended to fit approximately 90% of standard racking. Actual compatibility depends on the upright’s dimensions, profile, bracing, floor clearance, and surrounding components. Rack measurements should be reviewed before ordering to confirm that the protector can attach securely without interfering with normal rack use.

Use RACKBULL when individual rack uprights need localized protection. Choose RE RACK END when the exposed end and corners of a rack row require a broader barrier. Many facilities may benefit from both. Selection should account for vehicle routes, aisle width, turning points, impact exposure, rack geometry, and required impact resistance.
