The Gravity Flow Workstation combines an adjustable workbench with integrated supply and return flow racks. It is designed to keep parts, tools, packaging materials, and returned containers organized around the operator. This layout supports assembly or packing processes where materials need to move consistently into and out of a centralized workstation.

The workstation has a 72-inch-wide by 36-inch-deep tabletop made from 3/8-inch high-density polyethylene (HDPE). The workbench includes floor-leveling feet and an adjustable working height. The preferred height and surrounding rack arrangement depend on the operator, task, material dimensions, container weights, and required presentation points.

The workstation includes two bolt-on supply flow racks with 18 rails per level and one bolt-on return flow rack with 12 rails. This arrangement provides dedicated paths for incoming materials and empty or completed containers. Lane suitability depends on container dimensions, base design, weight, quantity, and required replenishment sequence.

The supply and return rails are set at a 1.9-degree slope to move compatible containers through the workstation using gravity. The inclined lanes help keep incoming materials accessible while directing return containers away from the primary work area. Container weight, base condition, rail spacing, and load distribution can affect movement.

The Gravity Flow Workstation includes two mounted workstation strip lights, a mounted battery charger, and a dedicated tool organizer. These integrated features keep lighting, charging equipment, and frequently used tools close to the operator. Final placement should account for the work sequence, operator reach, device dimensions, and electrical requirements.

The workstation includes a welded 3-inch round tube for mounting foam-strip rolls and two bolt-on label-dispenser shelves. These features keep common packaging supplies organized and accessible without unnecessarily occupying the main work surface. Their suitability depends on the roll sizes, label formats, packaging process, and operator-preferred placement.
