FAQs

A Jtec Pick-Up & Delivery Stand provides a designated location where an autonomous mobile robot can pick up or deliver a load. It works with a compatible Scissor Lift Attachment to support automated transfers between mobile equipment and stationary process points. The stand configuration depends on the load, transfer sequence, station layout, and required interface.

The AMR positions its Scissor Lift Attachment beneath the supported load at the stand. The attachment raises or lowers to transfer the load between the stationary stand and mobile robot. Accurate alignment, load-rail compatibility, clearances, and AMR positioning must be confirmed so the attachment can complete the transfer without interference.

Jtec offers multiple P&D Stand configurations, ranging from bare stands to versions with built-in input/output sensor functionality. Stands can also be configured to raise and lower the load. The correct configuration depends on the level of automation, required status feedback, transfer height, load dimensions, and controls architecture.

Selected Pick-Up & Delivery Stands include input/output sensors that can provide information used by the automated transfer sequence. The specific signals, sensor types, and communication method depend on the selected stand and system controls. Integration requirements should be reviewed with the AMR, PLC, facility network, and required transfer logic.

Selected P&D Stand configurations can raise and lower to position loads at a more ergonomic or process-appropriate working height. This can support stations where employees interact with the delivered load after the AMR departs. The required height range depends on the load, operator, task, and transfer interface with the Scissor Lift Attachment.

The stand is identified as compatible with Jtec’s Scissor Lift Attachment for autonomous mobile robots. Compatibility with a specific AMR depends on the attachment, load geometry, transfer height, payload, positioning accuracy, controls, and available clearance. Contact your Jtec account manager to review the complete AMR and stand application.
