Boplan Industrial Safety Gates restrict pedestrian access to hazardous or high-traffic areas. A physical gate requires employees to stop, open the gate, and assess their surroundings before crossing. Typical applications include pedestrian routes near vehicle traffic, machine rooms, restricted work zones, elevated platforms, cage ladders, and loading areas, depending on the selected gate model.

The gate interrupts a pedestrian’s normal walking path and requires a deliberate action before entering or leaving a protected area. This pause encourages the person to check for forklifts, tugger trains, AGVs, machinery, or other hazards. Gate placement should provide adequate visibility so pedestrians can evaluate conditions before proceeding through the opening.

Boplan offers several gate styles, including swing, sliding, upward-opening drop, Single Axes, Double Axes, and dock-gate configurations. Belt barriers are also available for temporarily restricting access. Each style addresses different space, access, fall-protection, and impact requirements, so the gate should be selected around the specific hazard and opening.

Compatibility depends on the gate model, barrier type, opening width, mounting location, and required traffic flow.
