FAQs

The RCST-2545-10-2 Shelf Cart is designed for hand-loading multiple sizes and configurations of straight-wall totes. Its two shelves and base level organize parts across three carrying surfaces, making it suitable for delivering smaller containers and components to production or assembly areas through Jtec Industries’ CarryMore mother-daughter cart system.

The cart provides two shelves plus a base level, each measuring 25″ × 45″. This three-level arrangement separates totes and materials while keeping them accessible for manual loading and unloading. Facilities should compare the available shelf space with their tote dimensions, required quantities, and operator access needs before selecting the cart.

The 25″ × 45″ Shelf Cart has a maximum load capacity of 1,000 pounds. The combined weight placed across its two shelves and base level must remain within this rating. Loads should be distributed to maintain cart stability, with tote size, individual component weight, and the facility’s handling process considered when planning each load.

Each carrying level includes a standard formed 1″ lip on all sides to help retain totes and materials during movement. The lip provides a physical edge around the shelves and base, but facilities should still confirm that their containers fit securely and remain stable throughout the intended route, including starts, stops, and turns.

The RCST-2545-10-2 is a C-size daughter cart designed to work with Jtec Industries’ C-size mother carts. The product page identifies the C-size dual-bay mother cart as a compatible option. Final system selection should account for the required cart quantity, route layout, aisle width, load weight, and preferred loading direction.

The cart uses two rigid and two swivel polyurethane casters, with an Alumilock face-contact brake for improved steering control and stationary positioning. Bolt-on handles keep operators’ hands separated from the load and place them at an ergonomic working height. Casters, brakes, and handles should be inspected regularly as part of routine cart maintenance.
