The TQDK-30 K-Size Dual-Bay Mother Cart has a total capacity of up to 3,000 pounds. This rating applies whether the cart carries two individual daughter carts or one oversized cart spanning both bays. The combined load must remain within the rated capacity and be appropriately distributed.
Each bay accommodates K-Size daughter carts ranging from 25″ × 50″ to 39″ × 50″. A single oversized daughter cart measuring up to 88″ × 50″ can span both bays. Final compatibility depends on the daughter cart’s overall dimensions, load distribution, and engagement points.
The fully mechanical Elemate 1.0 system uses a dual-pin center latch to engage and lift the daughter carts off the floor for transport. Because the daughter-cart casters do not contact the floor while loaded, the mother cart controls tracking and movement throughout the tugger route without hydraulic or pneumatic lift components.
The true quad-steer design helps the TQDK-30 follow the tow vehicle through tight turns with minimal walk-in between carts. Yes. The TQDK-30 can be arranged for loading from either side of the aisle. A quick-change, reusable tongue also allows the cart to be pulled in either direction.
