The Mother Cart – Quad Steer TQSB-30 (Tugger, Quad-Steer, Single-Bay, “B” Size) is part of our CarryMore system. It features our patented, fully mechanical lift technology, lifting the daughter carts completely off the ground during transport. The true quad-steer design creates superior tracking in transit and allows this cart to make tight turns with minimal walk-in from the first cart to the last in the train.
Stout, premium casters help easily tug up to 3000 lbs and can be pulled in either direction with a quick change of the tongue, and can be arranged to be loaded from either side of the aisle. Carts are easily connected to a standard 2″ ball hitch, which creates a quiet, smooth, and consistent following path. The CarryMore system increases safety, productivity, and reduces cost.

The TQSB-30 B-Size Mother Cart can carry up to 3,000 pounds, including the daughter cart and its payload. The cart’s specification sheet also lists a maximum total train weight of 10,000 pounds. Tow-vehicle capacity and route conditions must be considered when configuring a tugger train.
The TQSB-30 accepts compatible B-Size CarryMore daughter carts measuring up to 54″ × 47″. Listed options include B-Size flatbed, kit, roller-deck, and turntable carts. Compatibility depends on the daughter cart’s dimensions, weight, frame geometry, and Elemate 1.0 engagement features.
Elemate 1.0 uses a single-pin mechanical side latch to engage and lift the daughter cart completely off the floor. Once raised, the daughter-cart casters no longer contact the travel surface, allowing the mother cart to control tracking and movement without hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical lift components.
The true quad-steer design helps the TQSB-30 track consistently behind the tow vehicle and navigate tight turns with minimal walk-in between carts. This supports predictable travel through planned material-delivery routes. Actual turning requirements depend on train length, aisle width, intersections, payload, and route geometry.
Yes. The mother cart can be arranged for daughter-cart loading from either side of the aisle. A quick-change, reusable tongue also allows it to be pulled in either direction. This flexibility supports different line-side arrangements and return routes without requiring the complete cart to be turned around.
The specification sheet lists a maximum speed of 5 mph, a maximum slope below 9%, and a maximum train weight of 10,000 pounds. Actual operating limits may be lower depending on the tow vehicle, payload distribution, stopping distance, floor conditions, intersections, and facility safety requirements.
