The MFQS-5050-50 Heavy-Duty Tugger Cart can haul loads weighing up to 5,000 pounds. Its full 50-inch by 50-inch deck provides a compact platform for transporting heavy containers, pallets, equipment, and other industrial materials. Loads should be properly distributed and remain within the rated capacity.
A 1-inch formed lip surrounds all sides of the 50-inch by 50-inch deck to help retain materials during transport. The lip provides a physical barrier for loads that fit securely within the deck footprint. Tall, unstable, irregularly shaped, or shifting loads may require additional retention.
The true quad-steer system provides consistent tracking and enables tight turns with minimal walk-in from the first cart to the last in a train. This can help the cart navigate space-constrained material routes. Required turning space depends on train length, tow vehicle, payload, aisle width, and intersection geometry.
The cart uses premium 8-inch by 3-inch stout casters designed to support heavy industrial loads. These casters work with the quad-steer arrangement to provide stable tracking during towing. Floor condition, debris, thresholds, slopes, travel speed, and load distribution should be reviewed for the intended route.
The cart includes a spring-leveled, flip-up tongue and a standard 2-inch ball-and-coupler system. This connection allows multiple carts to form a train with a smooth, consistent follow path. Tow-vehicle capacity, combined train weight, route conditions, stopping distance, and facility requirements determine the appropriate number of carts.
The 50-inch by 50-inch model is better suited for loads that fit within a smaller square footprint or routes where overall cart length matters. The 50-inch by 100-inch model provides twice the deck length for larger loads. Both models have a listed 5,000-pound capacity, so selection primarily depends on load dimensions and route space.
