FAQs

The LFRS-5050-20 Light-Duty Flatbed Cart can haul loads weighing up to 2,000 pounds. Its 50-inch by 50-inch full deck provides a versatile surface for transporting containers, equipment, and other materials. Load weight and distribution should remain within the cart’s rated capacity during both manual movement and towing.

Corner captures positioned around the 50-inch by 50-inch deck help retain loads during movement. These captures provide physical reference points that help prevent properly sized materials from shifting off the cart. The load footprint and center of gravity should be reviewed to determine whether the standard captures provide sufficient retention.

Yes. The rear-steer configuration provides agile control when an operator pushes the cart. Two rigid and two swivel premium poly casters support predictable steering and movement. Manual push requirements still depend on the payload weight, floor condition, slope, travel distance, and frequency of use.

Yes. The carts can be connected into a tugger train using the spring-leveled, flip-up tongue and standard alligator hitch. This arrangement allows multiple loads to move together along a planned delivery route. The tow vehicle, combined cart weight, train length, route, and stopping requirements should be evaluated before operation.

The standard combination pairs a flip-up towing tongue with a floor lock. The tongue connects the cart to another cart or tow vehicle, while the floor lock helps keep the cart stationary when it is disconnected. Operators should fully engage the floor lock before loading, unloading, or working around a parked cart.

The cart uses an 11-gauge tubular steel frame designed for industrial material movement. It rides on premium poly casters, including two rigid casters and two swivel casters with a face-contact brake. This straightforward mechanical construction supports dependable operation while keeping routine maintenance requirements low.
