FAQs

The LSTRS-3872-20-2 has a total capacity of up to 2,000 pounds. Each of its two shelves is rated for up to 500 pounds, with the remaining allowable weight supported on the base level. Loads should be distributed to maintain stability and remain within both the shelf and total cart ratings.

The cart features a 38-inch by 72-inch base deck with two additional shelves above it. This three-level arrangement separates materials vertically, helping operators organize multiple containers or components on one cart. The usable space depends on the shelf spacing, load dimensions, and clearance required for loading and unloading.

Each shelf has a 1-inch lip that helps retain materials during manual movement and towing. The lip is suited for loads that fit securely within the shelf footprint. Additional retention may be required when transporting tall, unstable, irregularly shaped, or easily shifting materials.

Yes. Its rear-steer design provides agile control when the cart is pushed and stable tracking when it is towed. Two rigid and two swivel premium poly casters support predictable movement. Manual push requirements depend on the payload, floor condition, slope, travel distance, and frequency of use.

Yes. The cart includes a flip-up tongue and standard 2-inch ball-and-coupler hitch for connecting carts into a train. This allows multiple loads to travel together on a planned material-delivery route. Tow-vehicle capacity, train weight, route layout, stopping distance, and maximum train length should be evaluated before use.

The standard tongue and floor-lock combination allows the towing tongue to fold up when disconnected and the floor lock to hold the cart stationary. Operators should fully engage the floor lock before loading, unloading, or working around the parked cart, especially when handling materials across multiple shelf levels.
