Product Details

The Mother Cart – Electric Lift TQSA-25-E (Tugger, Quad-Steer, Single-Bay, “A” Size, Electric lift) is part of our CarryMore system. Unlike our all-mechanical models, this version uses electrical power to lift the daughter cart off the ground during transport. Offloading the daughter carts is the same as all CarryMore mothers’ carts. The true quad-steer design creates superior tracking in transit and allows this cart to make tight turns with minimal walk-in from the first cart to the last in the train.

Premium casters help easily tug up to 2500 lbs and can be pulled in either direction with a quick change of the tongue, and can be arranged to be loaded from either side of the aisle. Carts are easily connected with a power quick connect and a standard 2″ ball hitch that creates a quiet, smooth, and consistent follow path. The CarryMore system increases safety, productivity, and reduces cost.

FAQs

The TQSA-25-E Electric-Lift Mother Cart can tug loads weighing up to 2,500 pounds, including the daughter cart and its payload. Load weight, distribution, center of gravity, tow-vehicle capacity, and route conditions should be reviewed when determining whether the cart fits the application.

The TQSA-25-E combines electrical lift power with Elemate 3.0 and a dual-pin mechanical center latch. The daughter cart rolls into the bay with its wheels on the floor, then the powered mechanism raises it for transport. Unloading follows the standard CarryMore mother-cart process.

The TQSA-25-E is designed for compatible A-Size CarryMore daughter carts. Listed configurations include flatbed, kit, over-under, roller-deck, refuse-hopper, and turntable carts. Final compatibility depends on the daughter cart’s dimensions, loaded weight, frame geometry, and Elemate 3.0 engagement features.

The true quad-steer design helps the mother cart track consistently behind the tow vehicle and navigate tight turns with minimal walk-in between carts in a train. Actual turning requirements depend on train length, payload, aisle width, intersection geometry, tow vehicle, and facility route conditions.

Yes. The TQSA-25-E can be arranged for daughter-cart loading from either side of the aisle. A quick-change tongue also allows the cart to be pulled in either direction. This flexibility supports different line-side layouts and return routes without requiring the complete cart to be turned around.

The carts connect using a standard 2-inch ball hitch and a power quick-connect for the electrical lift system. This arrangement supports a smooth, consistent following path while supplying the required electrical connection. Tow-vehicle capacity, power availability, train weight, stopping distance, and route conditions must be evaluated together.
